"Because there seems to be much speculation, here is my statement," wrote Kardashian. "I am not at this time in my life considering any type of fertility treatments. If and when I do, I will shout it from the rooftops but for now its in Gods hands."
Kardashian was responding to a report from Radar Online that charged that she was interviewing fertility specialists in Dallas, where she and husband Lamar Odom recently moved when he was traded from the Los Angeles Lakers to the Mavericks. The site alleges that Kardashian had been trying to get pregnant for more than a year and had been getting treatment in Los Angeles.
"Khloe has been meeting with fertility doctors in Dallas, and Lamar has been going with her to several appointments," a source close to the reality TV star told the site. "Khloe very much wants to have a baby with Lamar, and their inability to get pregnant has had its rough moments, but this has only made their relationship stronger."
Kardashian herself has been very vocal about wanting children since marrying Odom in 2009.
"For two years, people have been wanting me to get pregnant," Kardashian has said. "People keep saying, 'Why aren't you pregnant yet?' That's what scares me, when people are like, 'Did you go to the doctor? Do you know if everything is working?' It's nerve-wracking. Sometimes I feel like I'm letting everyone down."
But while Kardashian admits to feeling strong pressure to start her family soon -- thanks to prodding from mom Kris Jenner and sister Kourtney, who recently announced that she is pregnant with her second child -- Khloe holds that she and Odom are continuing on the natural path. She also says that she is happy simply to be a wife.
Following Odom's last game, she tweeted, "So proud to call myself Mrs. Odom."
Odom has two children from a previous relationship with ex-girlfriend Liza Morales -- Destiny, 13, and Lamar Jr., 10.
